Care
Care
Pine has low rot resistance and needs a surface treatment if used outdoors. If it's sold untreated the customer needs to apply a finish of choice before using it. Apply a minimum of four layers, to the wood and make sure the end grain is fully saturated. Treated wood normally needs a fresh coat of wood oil every three to five years. Untreated chairs have no rot warranty.
